The Yacht Guy has a Master “Captain” License (100T Near Coastal Sailing, STCW, and USCG) and over 30 years of experience as a sailor and yachting professional. JB has chartered, captained and delivered dozens of yachts up and down both coasts of the USA, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean and in Hawaii.

Captain JB was raised in Seattle, WA remodeling residential and commercial property with his father. He went on to have a successful career as a pro nerd in Silicon Valley: He holds numerous patents for his work as an Electrical Engineer, Industrial Designer, and Inventor. JB pursued a degree in business while consulting as an electrical engineer and has assisted in the formation of several techy/nerdy companies.

Captain JB brings his business knowledge, technical engineering expertise, and sailing background to every relationship and transaction.
